Purpose of the Enfield Alliance Coalition

In the wake of the UNC Chapel Hill NCGrowth Economic Impact Study, the Enfield Alliance Coalition (EAC) was created as a mechanism, to facilitate the next steps and implementation to help preserve current businesses and explore opportunities to attract new ones to the Town that would enhance the quality of life for citizens and businesses of Enfield and Halifax County. The EAC, will work in collaboration with the Town of Enfield and its Governance, and advise the Town Council and the Board of Commissioners on community development needs to improve economic opportunities. The EAC will facilitate citizens participation in programs/activities and make recommendations to the Town Council on the planning, implementation of expenditures to help stabilize and revitalize businesses and neighborhoods. Additionally, the EAC may apply for grants to assist in the Leakage as Identified in the NCGrowth Study.

Vision 

The EAC’s vision is to help improve the Town of Enfield’s brand, economic status, and quality of life.

Mission

Through the creation of various subsector coalitions, each tasked with stated objectives and benchmarks, the EAC will work to accomplish the visions that align with the NCGrowth Study and other developments in the future.
